Walks, Drop-ins, & Overnight House Sittings

Federal & Peak Holiday Dates & Ranges:

• Federal Holidays: 

Applies ONLY to the following single day Federal Holidays:

MLK Day, Washington’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day 

 

• Peak Holiday Dates: 

Applies to ALL dates within the following ranges:

- Thanksgiving Week: Wednesday through Saturday

- Christmas & New Year’s Peak Season: December 23 - Jan 1st

 

 

Payment Structure:

To ensure a secure arrangement, please acknowledge the following:

Overnight House Sittings: 

To hold your dates, a 50% reservation fee is due at the time of booking. Remaining 50% is due 3 days (72 hours)  prior to the start date.

• Sittings: Billed per 24 hour period from scheduled arrival to scheduled departure.

​

• Grace Period: On your day of return, a grace period of up to 2 hours past the 24 hour mark is included.

​

• Extended Care (2–8 hours): A half day fee (50% of the nightly base rate + additional pet fees) apply.

​

• Extended Care (8+ hours): An additional full nightly rate (including additional pet fees) apply.

​

​This ensures fair compensation for the dedicated time and care provided during prolonged stays.

Recurring Drop-ins or Walks: 

Your first week of service is due at the time of booking. Afterward, invoices are sent out every Friday for the following week. Payment is due by the end of Sunday to remain on the schedule. If you prefer to settle your full month's balance at once to save time, just let me know! 

 

One Time Walks or Drop-ins:

Full payment is due at time of booking to secure your time slot.

​Note: Dates remain open to other clients until your invoice(s) are paid.​

Cancellation & Commitment Policy

My business is built on providing dedicated, one on one care. When you book a service, I block out that specific time on my calendar and turn away other requests to ensure your pet is my priority. Because I cannot refill these spots on short notice, the following policies apply:

Overnight House Sittings:

Minimum 72 hours notice required for full refund of deposit. Less than 72 hours, a fee of 15% from your initial deposit will be retained.  

​

Walks & Drop-ins: 

Minimum 24 hours notice required. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice incur a 50% charge of scheduled services.

 

 

Refunds:

Cancellations made within the required notice period receive a full refund.

​

 

Late Payment Fee: 

A $10 late fee will be added to any unpaid balances. Services are paused until the balance is paid.
